Terms of service
ARCANE Intelligence (“ARCANE”, “we”) publishes evidence-backed market investigations at arcaneintel.net and sells subscriptions that widen access to the archive and to the Alpha research desk. Using the site, creating an account or buying a subscription means you accept these terms.
1. What ARCANE is, and is not
ARCANE is a research publication. Each investigation states its sources, the actors it names, the market path it describes, what would confirm the read and what would break it. That structure exists so you can check the work, not so you can act on it blindly.
Nothing on the site is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, or a recommendation to take any position. ARCANE is not a broker, an investment adviser or a fiduciary to you. Research can be wrong; every published read carries an explicit break condition for that reason. You alone are responsible for decisions you make with what you read here.
2. Accounts
An account is an email address and a password. You must be at least 18 years old and must keep your credentials to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
One account is for one person. Seat administration and single sign-on for teams are a separate, invoiced arrangement and are not part of the self-serve plans.
3. Plans, prices and payment
Reading the published record is free with an account. Paid plans widen what you can reach: Pro at $20 per month, Max at $100 per month and Max+ at $200 per month, each billed monthly in US dollars. No plan is priced by usage, and no plan changes what the desk publishes; the subscribe page lists exactly what each level reaches.
Payments are processed by Stripe. ARCANE never sees or stores your card number. A subscription renews each month until you cancel it, which you can do in one step from the billing portal in your settings; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for and no further charge is made. Prices may change; an announced change applies from your next renewal, not retroactively.
4. What you may do with the research
Your access is a personal, non-transferable licence to read the research and use it in your own work. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not republish investigations in full, redistribute them to people who do not hold their own access, scrape or bulk-download the archive, resell access, or use automated tools to extract the corpus. The investigations, the evidence ledgers, the actor maps and the site itself are ARCANE’s property. Sources cited in an investigation remain the property of their publishers and are referenced, not reproduced.
5. Alpha
Alpha is a research desk that answers questions from the published corpus and states the evidence behind each answer. Guest access is limited to a small number of questions; paid plans widen it. Alpha will not fabricate a source, and where the record does not support an answer it says so. An Alpha answer is research output under the same disclaimer as everything else on the site.
6. Availability and changes
ARCANE is provided as it stands. We work to keep the site available and the record accurate, and we publish a new edition only when the evidence clears the desk’s gates, which means the site sometimes goes quiet rather than publishing filler. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may close an account that breaks these terms. If we end your paid access for a reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of the current period.
7. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ARCANE is not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from the research or from your use of the site, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid ARCANE in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the effective date at the top of this page changes with them and material changes are announced to account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the revised terms.
9. Contact
A monitored contact mailbox for legal and account questions has not yet been published on this page. It will appear here as soon as one is in service.
